About the Project
Teaching Hearts: Beyond the Lesson is a fictional comic anthology series that shares the more personal experiences of Volunteer Teachers in the Philippines and how those experiences have shaped the Volunteer Teacher and the kids involved in these programs.
Vision
To showcase the volunteer teaching experience
to a wider audience of young Filipino adults
thru the creative medium of comics

themselves with volunteer teaching initiatives
The Creator
Mia Amba
Mia “Mitch” Amba is a 2D illustrator specialist with an eye for detail.
Specializing in programs such as Clip Studio Paint, 3DS Max, and various Adobe Applications, Mitch uses every inch of her skillset to venture out and explore creative concepts into full blown projects.
